The pictures here of the sunsets are beautiful arn't they?
I mean to me they look like a postcard. I don't think I've ever seen a more beautiful sunet. It was like this every night.
These pictures were taken right in my sister's back yard. It always seems to amaze me to see these sunsets in the evening.
I'd be out on the back patio having a cigarette, maybe a nice drink or a cup of after dinner coffee, then look
up and see this. Then run inside for the camera.

One of the events at the Historical Forthworth Stockyards
is the steer run. You can see pictures of this event below. The coboys round up the steer and run them down the
main street. This is something to watch. I didn't get to see this last time. I mean check out the horns on those guys (the
steer not the cowboys).

| This was really cool |
One day we decided it was too pretty to stay inside. We
had already been shopping at a huge mall called "Grape Vine Mills". So we popped over to KFC picked up a bucket of chicken
and headed to the lake. Grape Vine Lake is a beautiful place. We had a great time as you can see in the pictures below.
This is not 1/2 of what I took, and it was hard to choose which ones to use. We saw people wind surfing (perfect wind
for it that day), canoeing, and even riding in boats. Everyone wanted to be out side enjoying the 70 something degree
weather.

I had always wanted to go to Texas, but never thought I
would. Then last year my sister and her family moved to Fortworth. Well, that gave me a real reason to get out there.
This was my second visit. I was there for a week that went by way too fast. My parents flew out with me and we had a
blast and I miss them already. Hope you enjoy the pictures I took while I was there.

of the Cowboy Hall Of Fame. The Hall of Fame really wasn't what I thought it was gonna be so I didn't pay the entrance
fee ot see the exhibit. I think the exhibit changes though, so maybe next time.

My newest hobby.......fishing.
I haven't been fishing since I was probably like 12 years old. So on vacation I went and got a fishing license and went with
my dad. The first day was not a successful day, however, we did have a great time and what a way to relax. I managed to fall
on some concrete slabs and get a lil scratched up, hahahaha, all part of the fun. The next day my brother Bubba, took us out
on his boat to fish. This day was much more successful but not as good as the men would have liked. Oh well fun was had by all
and I got some good quality time with my brother and my dad. What else could I ask for. The real fun came when we got home,
you shoulda been there to see me scaling the fish, hahaha. Oh well I'll probably be a catch & release person. Cause a
new motto I got from dad was "remember girl anything you catch you have to clean when ya get home". Ok I like to
fish, nothing like the feel you get when you're realing in "the big one" yeah right. But the cleaning ......naaaaaa not
for me :)
