There's no place like the beach. I went to Virginia Beach
for a long weekend with my friend Darleen, her daughter Cara, and niece Amy from August 27th thur the 30th.

Here are a few pictures of what we got to wake up
to. The view in the mornings was awsome. To get up, grab a cup of coffee and watch the sunrise, man this is the life. Wish
I could live like this. There were dolphins all over the place, every morning just as the sun was rising I could see them
playing just off the shore line. It was like they were sooo close. I tried getting pictures this time, but just never could
seem to click that dam camera button at the right time. Saturday morning I woke Darleen up to see the dolphins, couldn't let
her sleep thru that, the girls on the other hand were too slow in waking and missed them most morning.

| WE HEARD A CHANTING TYPE SOUND |

| IT WAS NICE TO JUST SIT, RELAX, AND HAVE COFFEE WATCHING THE BOARDWALK NIGHT LIFE |
WE HAD SPENT TWO DAYS BASKIN
IN THE SUN AND HAD THE SKIN TO PROVE IT. SO, WE DECIDED TO RIDE AROUND ON SUNDAY AND TAKE IN SOME OF THE SITES IN THE AREA.
THE FIRST THING ON THE LIST WAS VISITING THE LIGHTHOUSES. CAPE HENRY IS LOCATED ON THE ARMY BASE SO WE HAD TO STOP AND GET
THE CAR INSPECTED ON THE WAY IN. THE GUARDS WERE REALLY NICE AND HAD A GREAT SENCE OF HUMOR. THEY TRIED TO CONVINCE US THAT
THE LIGHTHOUSES HAD BEEN MOVED. UPON ARRIVAL WE FOUND OUT THAT WE COULD PAY A SMALL FEE AND ACTUALLY CLIMB UP TO THE
TOP OF THE OLD CAPE HENRY. WE JUMPED ON THAT ONE. THEN CLIMBED THE STEEP STAIR CASE TO OLD LIGHT HOUSE AND THEN HAD TO TAKE
91 STAIRS TO GE T TO THE TOP. THIS WAS TIGHT QUARTERS TOO I TELL YA. THEN JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU'RE AT THE TOP THERE
IS A SMALL SET OF LADDER TYPE STEPS TO CLIMB. BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP US, WE MADE IT, ALL 4 OF US. THE VIEW WAS SPECTUALR. I
WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PIT STOP TO ANYONE.

AFTER WE LEFT THE LIGHT HOUSES WE TOOK THE GIRLS TO MOTOR
WORLD TO RIDE THE GO CARTS. THEY HAD A BLAST. THE GUY WHO RAN THE CRAZY 8 TRAC WAS HOT HOT FOR CARA. TOO FUNNY,
HE EVEN GOT IN A CAR AND TRIED TO RACE HER. HE COULD SEE THAT I WAS TRYING TO GET PICTURES OF THE GIRLS, SO AFTER THE RACE
WAS OVER HE PULLED THEIR CARS UP FRONT AND CENTER SO THAT I COULD GET A GREAT SHOT OF THEM IN THEIR CARS.

Sunday was a busy afternoon for us. After we left Motor World
we went to the Virginia Marine Museum. We saw all kinds of interesting things there.
